New Zealand Defence Forces are considering a new camouflage pattern

New Zealand Defence Forces are considering a new camouflage pattern. Currently the NZDF is using dpm or disruptive pattern material. They feel the the new pattern being considered will be safer for troops not only  because the pattern will adapt into more environs but also because DPM is used by many other forces in the world.  The article gives insight into the selection process and considerations http://soldiersystems.net/2012/07/24/multi-terrain-camouflage-uniform-new-zealand-troops/

The second thing that I found interesting about the article was that it listed the design company that HyperStealth Biotechnology Company in BC Canada who designed the pattern and who has fielded many other patterns for many governments http://www.hyperstealth.com/ many of the patterns look like a radical departure from the me to digital camouflages currently around.
