appears from several articles to be finally on it's way out. See these articles http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2012/06/us-armys-pixellated-camoflage-uniform-is-a-us5bn-failure/, http://www.stripes.com/news/us/army-s-5b-failed-pixelated-uniform-getting-scrapped-1.181435 and http://defense.aol.com/2012/06/25/army-drops-universal-camouflage-after-spending-billions/
What is the common thread in all these articles is that the Army spent 5 Billion dollars on a camouflage pattern (Army Digital) that is woefully inadequate in most conditions. Perhaps they should have made it our of shredded dollars?
Now they are going to select a new uniform all over again see http://www.armynavyblog.com/2012/01/multicam-camouflage-one-of-finalists.html.
While multicam and many of these other camouflage patterns are very nice what is to say that the same problems are not going to happen all over again?
How do you think this will work out and why please give us your thoughts.
