Once again looking at articles on military clothing and equipment like a good surpie is known to do and found this article-http://kitup.military.com/2012/02/army-finally-fielding-sof-style.html
There are a couple of important points here one is Multicam is high on the military's radar hint hint wink wink, fabrics are changing for combat troops to heat and flame resistant models materials (the one mentioned is Improved Defender M Ripstop), features like knee protection will be built into the trousers and the price retail will be 150 to 200 dollars.
So what do you all think. Are we over designing basic soldiers garments with expensive trade mark materials? What happens when a guy or gal has to replace a pair on a spec 4's salary? Do the fabrics protect soldiers and so are they worth the investment?
Multicam Camouflage Clothing in more basic forms has been around commercially for at least 5 years now. Barre Army Navy Store has Tru-Spec and Propper Multicam Camouflage items available here http://www.vtarmynavy.com/multicam_camouflage_clothing.htm questions email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 802-479-2289
