How to measure Camouflage Fabric, Camo Netting, Mosquito Netting

One great problem for many people seems to be how to figure how much material they need. Camo Netting, Camouflage Fabric and Mosquito Netting are all 3 dimensional products. But for our purposes they are really viewed in 2 dimensions one of which is fixed.

So how do you figure out how to estimate the surface area need to cover a structure or an opening on a porch?

All fabric products have a fixed dimension for example most camouflage netting has a fixed dimension of 7'10". So if I wanted to cover an area that is 20 feet by 20 feet then I would need 3 sections 20 feet long or 20 yards total to put together to make the 20 by 20 piece. It is easy enough to do with wire ties.

Another example is a porch with an opening of 7 feet and 30 feet long. Then you would want to go with an mosquito netting that is at least 7 feet wide and a length of at least 30 feet or 10 yards.
